Monday, April 25, 2011 by Samara Travis:: I decided I wanted to be a nurse when I was just a little. Wondering why was my grandma always poking herself and giving herself shots everyday. Then when I was just a little older she explained what diabetes was I told her I'll take care of you grandma and she said you'll be a good nurse. So from then on I told her I would be a nurse. The need to want to be a nurse grew when my twin sister had a set of twins of her own that premature one died. The other less than a pound still spent months in the neonatal icu. Watching those nurses care for him I knew exactly what I wanted to do!
