What Does It Cost?

How much does college cost? How much will it cost next year or the year after that? An article from the Washington Post addresses the issue of the continually rising cost of higher education and its somewhat nonsensical ascent into the almost unaffordable. It addresses statistics from The College Board when it says, "In the past year alone, tuition for four-year public universities rose 8.3 percent for in-state students and 5.7 percent for out-of-state students. Some of those hikes are likely due to state budget cutbacks, but the same thing occurred with private colleges — a 4.5 percent tuition increase in the past year." The article even goes on to demonstrate how the cost of college tuition has increased even faster than health care costs.

What can one person do to possibly circumvent these high, ever-increasing costs? You can start by visiting The College Network's web site and learning more about what TCN has to offer. After taking a few minutes to look at what we have to offer, you'll realize that higher education online is not only possible, but also convenient, cost-saving, and efficient. It's important to consider all options when looking to further your education, but you won't find another way to earn a degree as customer-centered as The College Network.
